 The “Yard of the Week” award goes to Jim and Vicki Thorpe, 300 E. Eighth, Clegern addition. Profusion of color greets you as you walk to their front door with their beds of red, white and pink impatiens, hot pink mandevillas, yellow hybird tea roses, back-eyed susans, orange hibiscus, white and fuscia crape myrtles and assorted hostas. Hanging baskets of Boston ferns grace their colorful front porch. A large corner bed of red waxleaf begonias and red dianthus provides magnificent color as you turn onto their street.
