 The Yard of the Week award goes to Cary and Kathy Walters, 1701 Natchez Road in the Homestead addition. A delightful combination of colors will catch your eye in this bed of red knock-out roses, Dallas red lantana, orange day lilys, purple verbena, white snowcrop, red salvia, magic carpet spiraea, mugo pines and specimen purple plum tree. This bed was built where the February 10 tornado took out a very large tree. Their beds also contain crimson pygmy barberry, pink edward goucher abelia, Mexican heather, yaupon holly, Colorado blue spruce and two striking containers of yellow esperanza.
