 Edmond, Okla. - Edmond Beautiful, Inc. is now accepting applications for the 2009 “Keep it Clean, Keep it Green” Business Award.
The award, which recognizes businesses that demonstrate exceptionally clean and green practices, is open to members and non-members of Edmond Beautiful.
Applicants must set a specific goal to beautify, reduce, reuse, recycle or divert waste within the community, business or organization. The company can document, quantify and/or photograph the strategy to show its success. Participants must be located within the Edmond city limits.
Applications are available on the Edmond Beautiful Web site, www.edmondbeautiful.org or at the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce, 825 E. Second St. Participants must submit completed forms to Edmond Beautiful, Inc., P.O. Box 354, Edmond, OK 73083 by December 1, 2009.
Edmond Beautiful will display a plaque recognizing the winner of the 2009 Keep it Clean, Keep it Green Business Award in the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce building as well as make a public announcement. All applicants that meet the intent of the award will receive a Certificate of Recognition for their efforts.
