This large, spectacular yard provides a profusion of color from spring to fall and is a “must see” for all avid gardeners in Edmond. Their artistically designed beds contain more than 120 varieties of all colors of day lilies, five varieties of Asiatic lilies, red, white pink and purple  peonies, crimums, larkspur and red, white, pink, yellow and bronze dahlias set among redbud, varnish, desert willow, hickory and native oak trees. Their showy beds contain black-eyed susans, purple cone flowers, spider wort, Shasta  daisies, columbines, coral belles, bear britches, three varieties of ferns, red crape myrtles, pink hibiscus, purple asters and more than 20 varieties of hostas.

The more than 5,000 square feet of flowerbeds also contain red, white, pink and purple clematis, purple geraniums, coreopsis, more than 30 varieties of iris, euphoria, red drinickulles and the first time Edmond Beautifuls’ Richard Wrede has seen alstromeria growing outdoors in Oklahoma. This is a yard designed with care and cared for with love by Marion. When you go see this yard, take your camera.
